Blaire Gammon named Executive Director

OWESNBORO, KY November 13, 2023 – Revive Counseling Center, a leading faith-based counseling practice with a multi-state presence, is pleased to announce the appointment of Blaire Gammon as its new Executive Director, effective January 1, 2024. Blaire assumes the role from her husband, Dr. Zakk Gammon, who is leaving the position to fulfill a full-time role at his local church.

As Executive Director, Blaire will assume responsibility for the daily operations of Revive Counseling Center, ensuring its continued commitment to reviving hope and restoring lives to individuals and families across multiple states.

Blaire Gammon, who holds a degree in Christian Counseling from CrossPointe Theological Seminary and licensure as a Licensed Clinical Christian Therapist, initially joined Revive Counseling Center in an official capacity in 2018, serving as the organization's Managing Director. In January 2023, she transitioned into a full-time role, bringing with her a wealth of experience and dedication to the practice's mission, as well as extensive experience in Human Resources, having previously served as the Vice President of Human Resources at a local large-scale nonprofit.

Dr. Zakk Gammon will continue his involvement with Revive Counseling Center as the President of the board and will play a pivotal role in overseeing the practice's development efforts, which include launching future practice locations and other outreach initiatives.

Based in Owensboro, KY, Revive has expanded its presence to serve individuals, couples, and families in communities across Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee Missouri, Florida, Texas, Louisiana, and internationally. Since its launch in 2015, the practice has grown steadily over the years, delivering compassionate and faith-based counseling services to those in need with locations and clinicians across the country.

Blaire expressed her excitement about her new role, saying, "I'm thrilled to serve in this new capacity and continue ensuring Revive helps provide spiritual, emotional, and physical wellness to those we serve."

“Blaire has been dedicated to Revive since we first dreamed up the idea driving home from church one Sunday afternoon. The practice would not be where it is today without her involvement and support. Serving in her new role will no doubt take Revive to new heights in this new season,” said Dr. Zakk Gammon.

The Board is confident Mrs. Gammon's leadership will contribute to the organization's ongoing success and its ability to make a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals and families.
